Angela Z. Dailey
Founding Partner
When Angela Dailey founded DAI Partners in 1989, her concept was to use her years of Wall Street experience to provide public relations counsel exclusively for financial services clients. Angela believes that DAI’s focus on the financial industry results in campaigns that are in tune with the challenges and opportunities that financial firms confront, as well as the realities of today’s media landscape. DAI campaigns are effective because they rely on analysis of the client’s objectives, industry trends and the media’s interests.
Before founding DAI, Angela was Senior Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of Drexel Burnham Lambert. Angela was one of the first women to join the board of a major Wall Street investment bank. She directed the investment bank’s award-winning advertising campaigns, press relations, employee communications and sales promotion. Her expertise includes executive development and reputational management. She has conducted seminars for Business Week’s Executive seminar series and written numerous articles on reputational management.
A graduate of Trinity College, Washington, DC, Angela was on the Board of the YWCA City of New York and on the Board of the Financial Women’s Association. Angela was the founding chairman of the Securities Industry Association’s Public Information Committee. She currently serves on several nonprofit boards related to her interest in helping women of all socio-economic backgrounds become financially literate and gain better control of their finances.
Angela is bi-coastal, splitting her time between Southern California and New York City.
